I was 8 years old when a light bulb turned on within me ...
I don't know if it was when she repurposed our crusty old toys and shabby, discarded stuffed animals every week into shiny, bright objects of excitement for us to bid on each Friday at the student auction, or if it was because we were rapt with attention every morning with the newest, silly antic performed by her cat, Sarah.
Was it when she invited our entire second - grade class to her church wedding, all of us peering anxiously over the pews hoping to catch a glimpse of the moment when Miss H became Mrs. D?
Perhaps it was the subtle, yet magical way in which she made each of us feel we were the MOST incredible, special person she had ever known.
All to say, she changed my life in 2nd grade.
She showed me that learning was not about the information we retained so much as how critically we thought, humbly we participated, diligently we responded, and the CONNECTION we felt within ourselves and one another.
True connection as the key to transformation.

In our current society, our younger generations do not have the luxury of remembering a time before the inundation of technology in our daily lives.
Our children grow up in a world with streams of information and distractions jarring them from every angle. This excessive amount of pressure can lead to nervous system overload, behaviors which 'act out' their suppressed emotions and a breakdown of a child's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Living Indigo sessions are created to assist youth in their path toward remembering their own wholeness and inherent self-worth through individualized 1:1 coaching based on the academic, emotional and spiritual needs of each child and teenager.

Marcia Coleman, M.S.
I am a former high school learning specialist and Special Education teacher, with a Bachelor's in Special Education grades pre-K through aged 21, and a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction.
For over a decade I case-managed hundreds of high school students on Individualized Education Plans (IEP) which I co-created and implemented alongside teams of students, parents, coaches, and administrators.
In my recent years of motherhood I have worked as an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) tutor for students in the public school system at the high school level, as well as assisted in transition skills for students with special needs aged 18-21.
In addition, I have homeschooled with my daughter since her 6th grade year and she continues to thrive through high school developing her own hybrid homeschool-public education program of learning.
I am a Divine Conduit and spiritual mentor, certified in Celtic and Animal Reiki, as well as Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing.
I believe each child is unique and deserves to be seen in their wholeness, rather than their diagnosis, 'acting-out' behavior, or emotional or mental breakdown they may be currently experiencing.
All breakdowns lead to breakthrough.
Living Indigo sessions are uniquely catered to the needs and goals of your family and the wisdom teachings offered by Spirit throughout each session.
